Path to Prestigious “Dream University”

Westlake International Academy (WIA) works with you to make a viable strategic pathway to your desired “dream university” for yourself or your child. After we assess the current academic level and English proficiency of the student, and from that assessment settle on an attainable target university, we establish an individualized program and timeline. Depending on the current educational level of the student, this may involve our Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or GED for high school completion, or the ACT/GAC program through our K-12 sister school, and/or completion of college credit toward a fully accredited associate degree through our university partners such as Trine University (with a transfer strategy).

We work closely with each student to achieve their best possible GPA, transcripts and overall college application to maximize their chances as a transfer student to the prestigious university of their choice. Some students may be admitted directly to their target university after our customized high school completion program, while others may need a more long term strategy such as earning a two-year associate degree first which is transferable toward half of a bachelor’s degree at their final university destination. This is an effective strategy which is very feasible with guided help from our experienced team at WIA.
