There are many students who do not fit the cookie cutter approach of a traditional Chinese public school or even international school due to unique abilities and respective life goals, or special needs. We find that even so-called “special needs” students have incredible talents that simply need recognition and cultivation, with a high school completion program specifically tailored for their giftings and respective life goals.
We also find that some students are already academically ready, or almost ready, for college level education but yet are delayed by certain academic and even non-academic requirements for graduation that are not really necessary for their individual learning path and long term career goals. Hence, we offer customized routes to high school completion that accentuate each student’s abilities rather than unnecessarily burden and delay them.

Our fastest path to high school completion utilizes the GED examination for awarding an American high school equivalency diploma. In order to determine the viability of this pathway, students will be pre-screened. In conjunction with or apart from the GED, we also offer an Individualized Education Program (IEP) which is customized with the courses, training and mentoring needed for each student’s individual academic goals. The IEP helps to meet the social and psychological needs of students along with providing invaluable life skills. This is accomplished through our English and bilingual tutoring, social activities and sports coaching, the arts and fine arts mentoring, field trips, international summer camps, and professional and vocational training.
